Arizona, Wikieup - Tuesday, November 4, 2014 - Hidden Oasis RV Park

We saw lots of these bighorn sheep warning signs while we were in Nevada, but never any of the sheep.

This is the last view of Lake Mead, leaving Nevada.

Some of the mountains around Hoover Dam.  We are going across the bridge over the Colorado River.

Things look a little greener in Arizona.

Our destination today was Hidden Oasis RV Park.  Greg was looking for someplace we could stop about halfway between Las Vegas and Phoenix – there weren’t many choices.  This place is small (about 10 sites) but it has everything we need and it was only $20 for the night.

There is a small but nice café on site.  We had lunch here, the cheeseburgers and fries were good.  We also couldn’t resist a piece of homemade blackberry/raspberry pie.

This is our site for the night.

This big guy is at the entrance gate.

They have done a lot of work here to make the “oasis” came to life with lots of beautiful vegetation.
