We are
tired!! This was our first day
workamping and we worked 8 hours instead of the 4 hours we would normally
work.
It’s been
almost two years now since we retired.
And, even when we were working fulltime, we were both managers who sat
on our butts most of the day J.
Today we
were on our feet the whole time. We are
working in food service at the Cactus Grill – prepping tables, taking orders,
delivering orders and cleaning off tables.
The menu is mostly sandwiches and appetizer type items. We don’t do any of the cooking.
We enjoyed
the people and we actually enjoyed the work, it was just more time on our feet
than we were used to. I’m sure it will
be good for us to be up and moving.
