Oklahoma, Oklahoma City - Friday, October 4, 2013 - Roadrunner RV Park

I haven't posted for a while since I thought you might be getting tired of hearing of our "farming" experiences.  We definitely have a better understanding of what keeps David very busy.
Today was a travel day.  We left Kansas about 9:30 this morning.  We had a good time visiting with David and the kids.  We’ll miss them, but we did get them set up so we can talk to them through Skype, that will help some.
We are now in Oklahoma City at the Roadrunner RV Park just off I-35.  This is one we just picked “out of the hat” and it didn’t turn out too bad.   It’s a well-kept park, but has no amenities – it’s a nice place for an overnight stop and the price is right, $28 a night for 50 amp full hookups pull through site (with our Good Sam discount).

Tomorrow we are heading to a casino we saw a couple of years ago that is on the Oklahoma/Texas border.  It was just being built then and since it indicated it would have an RV park we made a note to come back when we were through the area again.  I’ll let you know if we get lucky.
On Sunday we’ll be moving to the factory where we are going to get our binds upgraded.  They called today to let us know we should be in and out all on Monday.  We were happy with that, we thought it might take a week.  From there we are going to San Antonio and probably spending about 10 days.
