Texas, Midland - Saturday, May 2, 2015 - Midland RV Campground

We left New Mexico this morning.

 

 

Headed to Texas.  We did experience one border patrol check – not much to this one, they just asked if it was the two of us and if we were citizens.  I expected that they would at least come in to look around.

 

 

The mountains have changed now that we are in Texas.  Some are “softer”, not so many jagged edges.

Others are flat-topped.

Our only stop in our six hour journey today was a rest stop on I-10 where we took a break to fix lunch.

 

 

Looks like this took a lot of work.

 

 

 

There was a lot of the journey today that was just highway and desert bushes.

We are spending the night in Midland, TX – oil country.  In the morning we’ll be on our way to Weatherford, TX.
