HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO GRANDSON WYATT!!
Our internet service here is a little spotty so I'm having trouble updating our blog in the evening.  This should have been on last night's post but just couldn't get it to happen.
Saturday we chose a National Parks Centennial mug for a souvenir of our travels through several of the National Parks this year.  The nation’s National Parks are celebrating 100 years of existence this year.  This should look nice with some flowers on our dashboard decorative trays.

Saturday for supper we had tilapia and vegetables baked in foil packets – this is a keeper, very tasty.

This is the view out the window across from my recliner.

The sky Saturday night looked like it was on fire.

These are the only wildlife shots I’ve been able to get.  All of the rabbits look pretty well fed.  The jackrabbits are huge!  We saw some pretty big paw prints in the dirt and sand as we walked yesterday – we are hoping someone has a very large dog.

We indulged with a Sunday morning buffet breakfast at the resort.  The roundtrip walk to get there was a little over a mile.

Sunday afternoon we decided to walk the beach so we wouldn’t feel so guilty about breakfast.  From our coach it doesn’t look that far.  But, from the coach we can’t see the ¾ mile very steep incline going down to the beach.

The beach is pretty but the sand is mixed with a lot of rock in some areas.  The wind was still blowing pretty strong and coming across the water it was cool.

The Stateline Boat Ramp is indeed on the state border between Arizona and Utah.  We were dreading the ¾ mile hike back up.  The second photo can be deceiving, we aren't looking into the distance, we are looking up.

You can rent any kind of water vessel from a luxury yacht to a kayak at the marina.

I thought some of these looked really nice, but way beyond our price range!!

These caves are across the lake from the marina – looks interesting.

There are just a few cactus mixed among the other native plants, this is the only one I’ve seen blooming.

Heading back to home to Arizona.  We walked for two hours so we felt a little less guilty about breakfast.
