Indiana, Anderson - Thursday, May 15, 2014 - Timberline Valley RV Resort

It is still cold, rainy and windy here in Indiana.  We were talking yesterday morning about having to get the gutters on the coach cleaned out as soon as it quit raining.  All kind of little buds and blooms are being blown off of trees and into the gutters, so they aren’t draining the water off the coach like they should.
That conversation came back to haunt us last night.  I was sitting on the couch, stretched my right arm out and felt water dripping – that’s not right!  We threw the pillows off the couch and started to unload the cabinet up above the couch.  We could see where it was leaking on the far left side.  However, when I put the non-slide shelf liner (the rubbery kind with holes in it) in the cabinet, I put it in as one piece so the full length of the cabinet had to be emptied to get out the damp shelf liner.  We kind of tossed everything where we could find a space and dried out the cabinet.

We left the plastic tub in the cabinet overnight to catch any more water that found a way in.  In the morning there were about two tablespoons of water in it.  We dried the shelf liner and put everything back, hopefully this is a one-time occurrence.

The thing I was most worried about was my rolling pinJ  This rolling pin was made by my dad years ago when he was trying his hand at wood working.  I don’t know what kind of wood it is, but he managed to get it perfectly round and smooth, a real beauty.  It was unharmed, in fact there was no damage to anything.
