We got into
our home for the next couple of weeks, David’s barn lot, around 12:30 this
afternoon. Just like always the wind is
blowing across these fields with a purpose in mind – dust. We’ll be here for the next two weeks before
heading to Mesa, AZ for the winter. We’ve
started getting emails from the folks at Val Vista Villages Resort, looks like
they are getting ready for the onslaught of snowbirds.
I feel like
we have this low sodium diet ingrained now as the way to think about how we
eat. We are still losing weight, just at
a slower pace right now. Greg is down 14
pounds and I am down 12. Hopefully, when
we leave Mesa next year we’ll be down to about where we need to be. I don’t feel as apprehensive about cooking
now, for a while I felt the stress of trying to think through new recipes and
how I season the everyday things. We
have enough tried and true recipes and meals to fall back on now so I can ease up and do some other
things, like housecleaning that has been on the back burner for a while J
Glad to hear you are both doing well! Sounds like you are behaving and getting in shape for our 50th reunion. :) We ran in to Jeff Weidner yesterday at Brown County. Said to tell you hi. They live somewhere in KS. They are here in Indiana visiting his son and grandkids. Going to move back when his wife graduates. I think his son lives in Elkhart. Well, have fun!
