We planned to get to a couple of the NASCAR team shops and museums today. We did spend quite a bit of time at the Hendrick Motor Sports complex. They had a pretty extensive museum.
The shop
tour was more limited than we had hoped.
Notice the impeccable, clean, white floors!
Greg noticed
when we took off this morning that the left turn signal on the bike wasn’t
working, so we knew we were going to have to go by the Harley shop which is
nearby the campground. Unfortunately,
that took longer than we had hoped. When
we took the bike in, they diagnosed a problem that could be fixed easily in 30
minutes. We went to lunch at a nearby
Mexican buffet, which was delicious and only $6.95 with the $3.00 senior
discount. We went back to the shop, paid
the bill, took off toward the campground and found out the turn signal still
didn’t work. So, we turned around and went
right back. This time it took much
longer to figure out what was wrong, but it did get fixed right this time and
they didn’t charge us for the labor the second time since they said it was
their fault they missed it the first time. But, since we spent so much time getting the bike fixed we decided to just go home instead of trying to see anymore shops today.
