Greg had a
quiet birthday today compared to the rambunctious celebration the grandkids had
yesterday. We went to Cracker Barrel for
lunch and that was the extent of it. He
did have a full day of racing and baseball on TV so I think he was happy.
Although we
have lived in our RV for three years now, we have only been able to travel
since I retired this time last year. We’ve
had a lot of wonderful adventures since the last time I wished him a Happy
Birthday – looking forward to many more.
Sgt. Bowe
Bergdahl was captured and held hostage in Afghanistan on 6-30-09. Bergdahl was released this weekend – a happy occasion. Greg can now take off the bracelet he has
worn for a long time recognizing the plight of Sgt. Bergdahl.
