The “salad
in a jar” experiment worked out well. I
prepared these last Friday and we had them for lunch today. You can pack enough salad in a half pint jar
to fix a nice size chef salad, just add some chicken and cheese. I think using cherry tomatoes might be even better than using the Roma tomato slices.
We both spent some time getting ready for our move tomorrow. I packed up the loose things inside while Greg packed up the grill and the rest of the outside things. We’ll be moving tomorrow to the Caboose Campground just outside of Remington in northern Indiana. We’ll spend a couple of weeks there visiting son A.J. and his family.
